Safeguarding

“Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility”

“Don’t think what if I have got it wrong, think what if I have got it right”

All children have the right to be safe from harm and abuse.

If you are worried about the safety of any child in this school or have any concerns regarding our safeguarding policies and procedures, you must report this to a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The Designated Safeguarding Leads are:

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL): A Finch
  • Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL): J Ferguson

If the school is closed and you have immediate concerns or are worried about a child or young person's safety, contact the Multi Agency Referral Unit (MARU) on 0300 123 1116. For immediate concerns during evenings and weekends contact the Out of Hours Social Work Service on 01208 251300. If there is an immediate issue of safety, then call the Police on 999.
