St Levan Primary School is a small rural school with a friendly family ethos.
We are a happy, caring school which encourages everyone to give their best and feel valued for the contribution they make. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to work as our school secretary.
The post would suit someone with clerical experience, however, we also welcome applications from anyone who is willing to learn new skills in a busy and stimulating environment.
The role is a key position in the school, providing administrative support to the Headteacher and ensuring the smooth day to day running for staff and students alike.
Experience of working within a school office and the ability to use SIMs would be an advantage but is not essential.
It is, however, essential that the successful applicant is able to communicate effectively, is resilient, emotionally intelligent and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The success candidate will also need to have a good telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively and confidently with a range of students, parents and outside agencies.
Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.00am - 2.15pm)
