About Our School

We have 2 classes of mixed age pupils, a mixed FS/KS1 and a KS2 class. Despite being a small school, we also benefit from a separate foundation stage classroom, meaning that our reception children can be taught separately every morning ensuring individualised support and nurturing.

At St Levan, we place high value on outdoor learning. We believe developing a child’s sense of place is extremely important and strive to make maximum use of the school grounds, greenhouse and garden as a learning resource. We also manage two National Trust ‘quillets’ at Penberth Cove.

We build strong relationships with all of our families, working closely with parents to ensure that our children enjoy being members of our school family and that they become confident, successful, independent learners.
Our Location

We are fortunate to be located near the stunning coastline of Penberth Cove and Porthcurno Beach. The open air Minack Theatre is also a close neighbour, and they provide a business link which enables a week long residency each Summer from The Central School of Speech and Drama students in our school.
Our Values

St Levan School provides an environment where curiosity is welcomed, enquiry is encouraged and excitement of learning is fostered.

We try to enhance the life of each child equipping them with skills and knowledge to enable them to take full part in society.

We develop the aesthetic, artistic and spiritual awareness of all, promoting understanding, tolerance, fairness and respect for others.

We enable each child to feel pride in their efforts, to learn and have confidence in their own abilities – to become lifelong learners.
Our Aims

To ensure all children gain qualities to enhance knowledge, understanding and skills for their personal development in school and the wider community.

Qualities –that we will value and foster are Honesty, Responsibility, Respect, Tolerance and Self Discipline.
